Despite the rain. Into a moonlight night.
I was in awaiting receipt of my groceries to save wear and tear on my well used trolley ... Even that has memories from that time lost. Post Crisis ...
I went out for a bracing evening walk to pick up lemon juice and some eggs. It was a very quiet superstore, tonight. A squelchy walk up there, even though the rain had now eased off. The self scan played up. It was swiftly dealt with. And on to my next port of call to get my utilities topped up, through the double entranced railway station.
And seeing the now emptying trains weave through the darkness. Trains my husband used to travel to and from work in London, before working more conveniently in Dartford, working with clients who appreciated his work. I still have something, someone gave in appreciation of going above and beyond.
He had worked too, in other offices when there was an opportunity in Brixton and other places including Hampshire ... Where some of the maternal family live ... And on that occasion we stayed with the family ... When I travelled to spend time with them while hubby worked ... All once interesting times ... Before the time that was to befall us ...
