Leap Year Day 2016 ...
My day had to get into gear ... missing the man of my life ...
I had a walkout to the shops after deciding on what to eat today. The local superstore had baked some super bread today. A big bonus. It was delicious.
I had brunch of that beautiful bread with bacon enwrapped. That bacon butty was followed by a tiny part of the cake I had put aside from baking on the weekend to have today.
On Saturday I was in the midst of flour and icing sugar dust. I baked some birthday cake a bit less fancy than what they already had up North. It was an exchange of celebration cake, between the six of us. The housemates her Nan and her Mum. It would go down well with those who are not fond of chocolate cake that daughter likes so much.
I set aside a part of the cake to decorate with fondant icing and sprinkles to do and have today too. A brunch that tickled the taste buds with delight thanks to that bread, today, that I will remember for I hope a long time to come.
