A Saturday in Swanley ...

Mothers Day Weekend 2016
From this view as though it is just another day in the life of this home, that has seen many families having the custodial time here, since the 1950s. And probably many more to come. Although about a decade ago, their were whispers of these being pulled down ...

They are a very good size abode, for living in. It is in a central location. It was once known as Castle Street. There was overcrowding in this part of town. And being horticultural based in its history, and near the railway meant it smelt of manure, that came via these rails, where it was stored before being put in place, here.

A fascinating history learnt from living here, my husband and the many locals and later from our daughter and her peers researching, writing, interviewing, filming, acting, and promoting, a red carpet premiere, award ceremonies and congratulations and thanks to all on many occasions, from a lottery funded film project into an award winning film on the local history of this town.
